Greater Saint John offers a number of educational programs and
resources to help people learn about Hospice, caregiving, volunteering,
hospice palliative care and grief and bereavement.
Volunteer Training
Our 30-hour introductory hospice palliative care training program gives
volunteers general, required knowledge and skill to support people and
families facing terminal illness, death and bereavement. For

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Conference is the foremost
national conference in Canada
focusing on hospice palliative care. During the four day
conference, you will learn about the important issues facing people who
work with those who are dying and you will hear experts in a number of
fields debate and discuss issues and offer solutions. This
conference is planned by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care
